Please note that Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk require that all clients read the Disclaimer and our Agreement. We draw the attention of all intending clients to these documents prior to service being provided. A client's willingness to participate in any session will be taken by Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk to mean that they have read, understood and accepted all clauses of the above Disclaimer and Agreement.

DISCLAIMER

  1. Kate Tomas or the practitioners associated with CrystalReading.co.uk, do not claim to have legally recognized qualifications or authority to be counsellors or therapists. We act as guides or navigators for those who choose to contact us out of concern for their own personal journey in pursuit of happiness, fulfillment and/or liberation from suffering.
  2. Our service has been designed and is provided for people in a state of normal mental and physical health and functioning, to help them to relax more deeply into awakening and Self-awareness. It is not designed to treat, diagnose, cure or alleviate symptoms of any kind of mental or physical or illness.
  3. Our service is offered in good faith and any advice or instruction provided in any interaction clients may have with Kate Tomas or CrystalReading.co.uk should not be seen by them as a substitute for the professional advice of medical doctors, psychiatrists or clinical psychologists. In all cases it is the responsibility of each client to seek appropriate professional treatment for any symptoms of disease or disorder that they may be experiencing.
  4. Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk is not able to give any warranty or guarantee that personal problems (either expressed or implied) presented by a client can or will be resolved.
  5. Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk does not accept any liability or responsibility for any consequences of a client's use of its services -- either beneficial or otherwise. A client's use of the advice or information provided in a session, their interpretation of what they see or hear in such sessions or any effects on them or others which they attribute to such sessions is their responsibility alone.
  6. In no event shall Kate Tomas, CrystalReading.co.uk or its employees be liable to any person(s) for any loss or damage of any kind which may occur as a result of the service(s) it provides.
  7. For entertainment purposes only. A Reading with Kate Tomas is not a science and should be deemed an experiment.

AGREEMENT

  1. Confidentiality — I understand that Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk will protect my private and confidential information by all reasonable means. Furthermore, that Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk will store and maintain my electronic and hardcopy information in accordance with the Privacy Act. I understand and accept that if, in the mind of Kate Tomas, there seems to be a real likelihood of harm being done to a client, or harm to others being done by a client, Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk reserves the right to make a report to an appropriate authority.
  2. Emergency Situations — I agree that, if at any time, I feel, think or believe I am in a crisis a situation and require emergency assistance, I will not rely solely on Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk and will seek appropriate assistance elsewhere. (For example, by phoning Emergency - '999'; The Samaritans 24 hour crisis counseling line – 08457 90 90 90, or a local doctor/hospital).
  3. Referrals — I accept that Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk have a duty of care to all clients and that I may be referred to a service other than Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk if Kate Tomas decides that she is unable to assist me.
  4. Copyright — I understand and agree that I will comply with Copyright Laws and will not distribute Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk’s printed, e-mail or other communications in a way that is inappropriate, disrespectful or harmful to myself or others (including Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk).
  5. Legal Jurisdiction — I understand and accept that the Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk service is governed and bound by the laws of the United Kingdom.
  6. Fees — I understand and accept that Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk fees are to be paid prior to each session, and that Full payment is necessary to secure any booking. I agree that the session will conclude at the end of the agreed time. I agree that this payment is non-refundable if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (except in the case of a medical emergency). I accept that fees are not refundable (except under extraordinary circumstances).
  7. Termination of Services — I understand and accept that Kate Tomas or CrystalReading.co.uk may decline to offer services at any time and that in this case a reason(s) will be provided to me.
  8. I (the person applying for Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk’s services) acknowledge and assert that I —
    • Am not feeling suicidal; nor contemplating harming myself in any way, nor am I relying solely on Kate Tomas and CrystalReading.co.uk for assistance with my personal concerns.
    • Am eighteen (18) years of age or over.
